1st Day.
Early transfer from Tbilisiairport to the hotel. Check in the hotel.
Next morning after breakfast drive along the GeorgianMilitaryRoad to Stefantsminda (Kazbegi). On the way visit Ananurifortress (XVII-XVI c), GudauriSki resort, drive along CrossPass (2395m above sea level), on the way stop and taste sour mineral water. Arrival at Stefantsminda (Kazbegi). Hike to GergetiTrinitymonastery (XIV c) - The monastery is located on the top of Gergetihill (2185m above sea level) from there you can have a spectacular view to Mt. Kazbegi (5047m above sea level). Drive to DarialiGorge and visit Gveleti'swaterfall. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
2nd Day.
After breakfast, drive to the second biggest city in Georgia - Kutaisi. On the way, visit Old Capital of East Georgia-Iberia, Mtskheta. Visit Jvarimonastery and SvetitskhoveliCathedral. Continue tour to Gori, visitStalin's birthplace and his house-museum, tour to Uflistsikhe the oldest cave town in Georgia (II-I millennium BC). Visit village Surami and taste famous Surami's Nazuki (sweet bread made of honey and milk). Drive through RikotiPass and visit village Shrosha, tour in pottery, where you can see how Georgian earthenware and winejugs made. Arrival to Kutaisi and stay overnight in Kutaisi.
3rd Day.
Next morning after breakfast, start Kutaisitour. Visit Old Town, Bagraticathedral, Gelatimonastery and academycomplex, visit PrometheusCaves. Drive to Mountain region of Georgia, Svaneti via Martvili’scanyon, Enguridam and shortstop at the waterfall on the pass to Mestia. Arrival to Mestia, overnight in Mestia.
4th Day.
Next morning after breakfast, drive to Ushguli, one of the highest settlement in Europe. Drive through the beautiful pass on the way to Ushguli with magnificent views to the GreaterCaucasusMountains. Arrival to Ushguli and visit its sightseeing. Typical Svanetiandefensivetowers and house hold (Machubs). Arrival to Mestia and visit Margiani family’s ethnographicmuseum. Walking tour in the center of Mestia. Ride by skilift to ZuruldiMountain for the viewpoint to Caucasus Mountains. Overnight in Mestia.
5th Day.
After breakfast, drive to Borjomi. On the way to Borjomi, visit Dadiani’sPalace in Zugdidi, Ubisamonasterycomplex. Arrival to Borjomi and taste famous Borjomi'smineralwater, short walk in Borjomi'scentralpark. Stay overnight in Borjomi.
6th Day.
After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Vardzia. On the way to Vardzia visit, GreenMonastery (IX c). Next drive to Akhaltsikhe and visit RabatiFortress (XVII-XVIII c.). After finishing in Rabati, drive to Sapara monastic complex (X-XIII cc), visit KhertvisiFortress (III-II c. BC). Arrival to Vardzia and visit the biggest caves city in Georgia (XI-XIII c). Overnight in Vardzia.
7th Day.
Next morning after breakfast, drive to Tbilisi via Paravanipass (2100m). On the way to Tbilisi, visit LakeSagamo, the biggest lake in Georgia-Paravani and Tsalka’swaterreservoir. Overnight in Tbilisi.
8th Day.
After breakfast start Tbilisitour. Visit multinational old town; Metekhichurch (XIII c), Narikalafortress (V c), mosque, sulphabathedistrict(XVII-XVIII c), oldsynagogue (XIX c), visit oldKarvasla (Caravanserai XVI c), Sionicathedral (XII c), modern glass made PeaceBridge, tour to Anchiskhatichurch (the oldest Orthodox Church in Tbilisi VI c), CatholicChurch (XIX c). Visit to fleemarket by the DryBridge. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Early morning transfer to Tbilisi airport.
