1st Day.
After breakfast, drive to Kakhetiwine region. Visit Davidgarejamonastery complex (VI c Lavra and XII c Udabno monastery). After Davidgareja, visit Signagi fortified town, also known as City Of Love (XVIII c). Visit Kvareli, Old Wine Cellar in Kindzmarauli Corporation (XVIII c). Drive to Telavi. Stay overnight in Telavi.
2nd Day.
Next morning drive to Tusheti, village Omalo. On the way to Omalo, visit Ikalto monastic and academy complex (VI-XII cc) and Alaverdi Cathedral (XI c). After Alaverdi, drive by very hard off road to Omalo. Road will takes about 4-5 hours. Arrival to Omalo and after short rest visit Keselo fort (XVIII c) on the top of village Omalo. Overnight in Omalo.
3rd Day.
After breakfast start horse riding tour to Lake Oreti, which is located on the mountain slopes south of Omalo at elevation of about 2700 m above sea level. From the lake, you will have great panoramic view of whole Tusheti. Horse riding will last for 7-8 hours both ways with some stops at the viewpoints and lunch. Return back, overnight in Omalo.
4th Day.
Next morning start hiking tour to Diklo. About 6-7 hours both ways. On the way to Diklo, visit high land village Shenako. In Shenako, we will visit series of building of Georgianfolkarchitecture and the old church of HolyTrinity. Hike back and overnight in Omalo.
5th Day.
Drive to the village Dartlo. Arrival to Dartlo and walk around the village and hike to the village Kvavlo, which is located at the top of the hill at elevation of 2140 m above sea level. Only one person lives in the village. About 2 hours both ways. Come down from the Kvavlo and drive back. Overnight in Omalo.
6th Day.
After breakfast, drive to Khevsureti, village Roshka. Road will takes about 7-8 hours, with the stops at the viewpoints and the lunch. Also depends on the weather. On the way to Roshka, we will drive along the Greater Caucasus Mountains with magnificent views around. Arrival and overnight in Roshka.
7th Day.
Next morning we will start hiking track to Abudelauri’scolorful lakes. First, we will get to Green and Blue lakes, next we get to the White lake. Duration of the hike is about 5-6 hours both ways. Overnight in Roshka.
8th Day.
After breakfast, drive to fortified village Shatili. Located in the deep Arguni gorge at approximate 1,400 meters, the village is actually a unique complex of medieval-to-early modern fortresses and fortified dwellings of stone and mortal, which functioned both as a residential area and as a fortress guarding the northeastern outskirts of the country. The fortress consists of the terraced structures dominated by flat-roofed dwellings and some 60 towers which cluster together to create a single chain of fortifications. As of 2014 census, population of the village was 22. Walk through the village fortifications. Stay overnight in Shatili.
9th Day.
Next morning, start hiking tour to medieval Mutsofortress. On the way to Mutso, visit Anatori’s Crypt. Arrival to Mutso and hike up to the fortress. Return to Shatili. Stay overnight in Shatili.
10th Day.
Next morning after breakfast, drive along the Georgian Military Road to Stefantsminda (Kazbegi). On the way visit Ananuri fortress (XVII-XVI c), Gudauri Ski resort, drive along Cross Pass (2395m above sea level), on the way stop and taste sour mineral spring water. Arrival at Stefantsminda (Kazbegi). Hike to Gergeti Trinity monastery (XIV c) - The monastery is located on the top of Gergeti hill (2200m above sea level) from there you'll have a spectacular view to Mt. Kazbegi (5047m above sea level). Overnight in Stefantsminda (Kazbegi).
11th Day.
After breakfast, drive to Tbilisi. On the way to Tbilisi, visit Old Capital of Iberia Mtskheta. Svetitskhoveli cathedral (XI c) and Jvari monastery (VI c). Arrival to Tbilisi and start city tour. Visit multinational old town; Metekhi church (XIII c), Narikala fortress (V c), mosque, Bath district with Sulpha bathes (XVII-XVIII c), old synagogue (XIX c), visit old Karvasla (Caravanserai XVI c), Sioni cathedral (XII c), modern glass made Bridge Of Peace, tour to Anchiskhati church (the oldest Orthodox Church in Tbilisi VI c), Catholic Church (XIX c).
