Arrival in Tbilisi Airport. Transfer to the hotel.
1st day Tbilisi - Mtskheta sightseeing.
After breakfast start Tbilisi tour. Visit multinational old town; Metekhi church (XIII c), Narikala fortress (V c), mosque, Bath district with sulpha bathes (XVII-XVIII c), old synagogue (XIX c), visit old Karvasla (Caravanserai XVI c), Sioni cathedral (XII c), modern glass made Peace Bridge, tour to Anchiskhati church (the oldest Orthodox Church in Tbilisi VI c), Catholic Church (XIX c). After tour to old capital of Georgia (Iberia) Mtskheta, (historical monuments of Mtskheta belong to UNESCO's World Heritage). Visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral (XI c) and Jvari monastery (VI c). Return to Tbilisi. Stay overnight in Tbilisi.
2nd day Tbilisi Davidgareja Signagi.
Next morning after breakfast drive to Kakheti wine region. On the way visit Davidgareja caves monastery complex in Sami-desert (VI c), tour to Signagi fortified town and visit its sightseeing; Signagi’s walls and its pretty streets with wooden carved balconies. Stay overnight in Signagi.
3rd day Signagi Tsinandali Gremi Kvareli.
After breakfast, drive Telavi the main city of Kakheti. On the way visit Bodbe nunnery and fortified town Signagi, also known as City Of Love. Drive to winery Winery Khareba in Wine Tunnel and taste Georgian white and red dry wines made in European and Georgian style (made in Kvevri - wine jug). Next visit Kvareli and Ilia's lakes. Tour to Telavi via Gremi Citadel (XV-XVII c) and Alexander Chavchavadze House-Museum. Walk in Telavi center. Stay overnight in Telavi.
4th day Telavi Tbilisi.
Next morning after breakfast drive back to Tbilisi. On the way to Tbilisi visit Alaverdi monastery complex (XI c), Ikalto Academy and monastic complex (XI-XIII c), Shuamta Monastery complex (XVI c), Old Shuamta Monastery complex (VII-XI c). Drive through Gombori Pass (1600 m. above sea level). Visit Ujarma Fortress (V c). Arrival in Tbilisi.
Transfer to Tbilisi Airport.
